BRCC TV is a service of Blue Ridge Community College and is located in Henderson County, NC. The vision of BRCC TV is to serve as a local outlet for high-quality credit and non-credit educational television programming to the cable viewers in Henderson County, NC. BRCC-TV strives to produce, sponsor and deliver meaningful and relevant educational programming consistent with the mission of Blue Ridge Community College, including information from the College about public events, program offerings, and on relevant public safety or health issues.

Programming on BRCC TV is a mix of courses from noted multimedia distance learning suppliers like Annenberg Learner and Coast Learning, as well as several original programs developed by Blue Ridge Community College. The College’s Distance Learning Department was instrumental in developing and obtaining programs that would provide more options and flexibility for students. Registered students will be able access selected telecourses and hybrid “teleweb” courses that fit their schedule.

BRCC-TV is made possible through a partnership with Morris Broadband, Inc. who has provided spectrum space and technical infrastructure and support to make this channel possible.

Part of the Technology Division of Blue Ridge Community College, BRCC TV has two employees - an Education Television Coordinator and a Production Assistant. Several volunteer opportunities are available at BRCC TV. Information on these opportunities and how to apply are available on our website.
